About

I write long-form fiction and short-form memoir.  You can see some of my published personal essays here under “Prose.”  You may be able to find my novel Cooder Cutlas somewhere on Amazon.  I have written for Glamour, Cosmopolitan, The New York Times, Barrelhouse, Post Road, LitHub, Compass Rose, epiphany, Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus, and other literary magazines.

A graduate of NYU Film School, I spent several years writing screenplays. I currently work as a researcher in a major international law firm, and earned a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute in 2018.

My current novels Censorettes and The Dog and the Wolf, involve women’s experiences in World War II. Censorettes will be published by Stonehouse Publishing in the fall of 2020.

I have lived in Astoria, New York for many years but will never be a Mets fan. I root for the St. Louis Cardinals.

  2. Hello Elizabeth,
Looking forward to reading your Censorettes novel. My Mother’s family built and owned the Hamilton Princess until the 1950’s. Many fascinating wartime stories have been shared over the years. While my mom is no longer with us her tales of roller skating in in the basement while there were British and American code breakers working upstairs bring a smile to my face.
